ABOUT ABOUT

Carnival Cabaret - in association with The Jewish Community Center of Palm Springs, Oscar's Cafe & Bar, Lulu California Bistro, Arial Trampway Entertainment and members of the drag community - proudly present a Gala Performance of Carnival Cabaret in the JCC ballroom on Wednesday, April 1st - honoring the show's star, drag legend James “Gypsy” Haake, with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and open bar included.

At Carnival Cabaret, you never know who might appear! From Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Patsy Cline, P!nk, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, to Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, Bette Midler, Joan Rivers, Barbra Streisand and more...its always a star-studded evening! All celebrities are portrayed by professional male actors - you will not believe your eyes!

Promising to be one of this season's funnest, most fabulous events, this celebration of the art of female impersonation is hosted by Arial Trampway (aka Alfie Pettit) and also raises funds for Gypsy's star dedication on Palm Springs Walk of Stars.

New Jersey born James “Gypsy” Haake’s career has spanned over sixty years ~ from Broadway dancer to star of fabled Beverly Hills nightclub “La Cage Aux Folles”, where he was discovered by Mel Brooks and went on to star opposite the likes of Anne Bancroft, Jane Fonda, Joan Collins, Shelley Long and Katey Sagal, working with directors including Alan Johnson, Sydney Lumet, and Robert Altman. Before arriving in Palm Springs this season, "Carnival Cabaret" was Lake Tahoe’s longest running casino show. Recently recognized as the world’s oldest working female impersonator by Guinness World Records, Gypsy still makes audiences roar every weekend at Oscar’s Café & Bar in downtown Palm Springs.  And we think he deserves a star!

Hosted Bar, courtesy of Oscar's Cafe & Bar, and Complimentary Hors d'oeuvres, courtesy of Lulu California Bistro are included in the ticket price.

Don't miss out! Doors open at 6 pm, with show  at 7 pm.
